Do not trust this app.

I’ve had this app since 2014. After the last update when I went to sign in it just kept crashing. Wrote to support which came back with answer that basically said they couldn’t help me. I deleted and restored the purchase. 10 years worth of info gone. It was great app but if you can’t help me fix and recover it’s worthless and not too happy with losing my info. Lesson learned, write it down as well.

Easy to use, secures my information I don’t want anyone to have access to. It even provides a decoy password that will wipe the app and back it up to your email or cloud.

Note lock is easy to use and trustworthy. I have had it for many years and use it daily. It’s also inconspicuous, so nobody questions it if they see the icon on my screen.

I have had this app for a long time and had a lot of important information on it like log in info and now its all gone i hoped on the app to try and get my log in info for a game and instead find the notes you get when you first installed the app its pissing me off that it only happened to me i checked with some other people who have the app and they dont know because theres is fine i dont know what happened please fix this otherwise im gonna have to use a different notes app

How do you retrieve a note you deleted. My note got hacked even with all the security it says it had and one note deleted!!!

I love this app, but for years, yes years, I’ve asked for help transferring my stored notes to an updated phone. I’ve looked for the answer everywhere. If you happen to know-I’d appreciate the help. Still stand by this opinion. Have recently looked for a similar “locked” notes app that can transfer to new phone models. Help, would certainly be helpful to this creators review.

Note Lock has been an answer for me, to find a way to safely journal notes to myself. Journaling to my self, without having to hide it, has given me peace.

I’ve noticed that my notes have been lost and some have unreadable text that is integrated into some of them for instance this is how some of notes have converted from sentence form to something of this nature “ went Aisthe (mawhole Mwercekend” not sure what that sentence was prior to it being distorted in my notes. I’ve reached out to support and no response yet. I have missing notes and I can’t seem to retrieve what I had in here from searching words that I know were in the text of those notes and it comes up with no results from my search….and to add insult to injury I purchased the Pro version. I just need help retrieving my lost notes. What’s even worse is that I see that there was possibly an update but I NEVER received a push to update it the latest version it appears to be a whole new application because the way Apple has it an update of the app would automatically be in your update queue. This is absolutely horrible. I’ve spent years capturing notes and I see many of them missing and I was a pro subscriber so my content should have been synced and it’s not there!

I purchased the pro version, it worked for about four days and poof, gone. Very disappointing as I REALLY LOVE the password protection on this app.

It’s a really good app. But for some reason it uses the microphone, which is really really weird considering it’s a notes app…. Could anyone explain why it uses the microphone??

Works just like a normal notes app and looks great, you don’t HAVE to pay for anything which makes my cheap mind very happy. 100% recommended!!

I had this app for several years. Love it. I even turned around about paid for it. Because I could keep my notes, poems, and short stories private. But. Now they want you to pay for this and that. Why make loyal customers, upgrade again? I can almost understand someone who just downloaded the app. But come on! Doesn’t the ones who’ve had this app when it first came out count for something? Needless to say I’m not doing another purchase for this app.

Iii have used this app for years to store all my passwords. Great app.

I have the premium version and I’d really like to be able to set a sold black ground. The only dark background is marble which has white lines all over it which can make it difficult to read sometimes. Having the ability to import my own background would also be very useful

Do NOT put anything in this app that you will need again and do not want to loose. I’ve lost two REALLY important notes not from anything I’ve done on my end. Just poof they are gone. I have used this app almost daily and was loving it until my notes disappeared. I have tried to retrieve them to no avail. The notes app on IPhone allows you to lock notes - I’ll just be using that for now on. Sooooo disappointed!

I feel assured that my passwords are safely protected. Since so many applications have different password requirements, it is impossible to remember each one, let alone keep up with password changes as often required. It’s great having all my passwords, confidential information, and private thoughts saved in one place with easy access by me alone.

I clicked on one of my pass words that I didn’t no longer needed to delete and it deleted everything ☹️ I had to start making new pass words all over. Is there away to retrieve all my deleted pass words back.

I accidentally deleted a note that contained a lot of things I needed and now it’s gone and I can’t get it back

All of a sudden all my notes are gone. It’s awful! No way to contact anyone or get them back. Very upset. Don’t download it.

I’m a writer and I use this app to jot down story ideas. It’s easy to use and well organized.

This is a perfect diary that is so easy to use. I love how I can place my thoughts and lock it away from other prying eyes.

I used this app when it came out years ago and thought it was so nice to have a place to save private thoughts and entries. However I come back a few years later to see all my notes deleted except for one because I don’t have the pro version. So I lost all those entries because the developers got greedy and want money for a slightly upgraded version of notepad. News flash don’t get this unless you plan to pay 1.99 a month for a notepad. Super sad to see a good product get taken up by greed.

I like this app because I can keep my thoughts, feelings and secrets to myself. Journaling in a notebook is so public at the end of my life I can print these out.

This is a really good app to use if people keep snooping through your diary! The best part is that it has a password that you can set so no one can open it but you! Make sure it is something you can remember though! 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had this app for years then boom, they come out with a paid version that you must pay for and they stopped updating the original NL. Now I am stuck with no way to access very important information which is causing me to have to change all my passwords. What a rip off. At the very least when you downloaded the new pay to use NL your info would transfer over. I’ll just use the free one with iOS from now on. At least you know it will be updated

I have been using this app for years and am very satisfied with its performance. 06/15/2021. I just did the upgrade and lost EVERYTHING! I sent a email to customer service.......silence. I’ve been using it for years. Beware! Update!!!! The app has been updated to the newest version for apple phone. All my info was still there. Thank you very much!!! Back to being a great app.

Easy to use and even though some features you can only access if you pay, there are plenty of cool things on this app that are free. It’s much better than I was expecting, honestly. Try it out.

No one emails back. I redownloaded it onto my new phone and it has zero info. Can never access the app again. All info lost. Not worth it.

Finally updated by Apple! The old version is now operable. Save your info. Make a copy. Hopefully it never happens again. 6-29-21 Attention iapcreations! We understand your new version works with new iOS. Problem is everyone has all their data stuck in old version. After update iOS old version no longer works. Supplying new version does not help anyone with notes on old version!!! You should offer way for users to get data out of old note lock. There was no warning to upgrade version. Who will trust new version from doing this again. You shouldn’t create new version and abandon old one without notifying users that they must upgrade!

How could I get the info in the previous version of the app that doesn’t work with the newest “iOS” software ? I’ll appreciate any help !

Do not get this unless you want to get locked out of your account because it isn’t compatible with the new iOS iPhone update! I’ve tried contacting support multiple times and the submission options keep saying invalid to contact them. I had a lot of important stuff in this app that I want to recover and it’s sad cause I really did like this app…

They do not keep up with the updates to ensure their apps work on the current iOS.

It’s so cool

I had note lock for years, then, with the latest iPhone iOS version update, (spring 2021) I lost the ability to sign in to the app. It says that note lock needs to update to work with the new update. So much for saving notes, and find out I’m unable to retrieve them. I downloaded the new “version”, but that still doesn’t let me get my old notes back. This is a ridiculous app to have cut us off like this.

I have been an NL User for many years and paid to upgrade it to the pro version at some point. I used this app just a couple of weeks ago and went to access my information today only to be told that “the developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of iOS”. All of my information is unavailable and I am extremely frustrated and disappointed as a long time user. I can download the free version but that does not have any of my personal information in it that I need to access. The pro version does not work anymore.

I cannot get into the app to get to any of my notes. iOS 16.4 update stopped from working and they have not fixed it or responded to any of my request for help.
